Fair Play Winery Tour
June 23 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Ready to taste some wines from the Sierra Foothills and Shenandoah Valley? Then you won’t want to miss out as we drive the back roads to Fair Play, where we will stop at Skinner Vineyards and Winery (skinnervineyards.com) to taste some of their award winning wines. The view of the Sierra foothills from their patio is worth the drive alone.
Next, we’ll head back towards the town of Plymouth, to the Vino Noceto winery (noceto.com), home of some of the best Sangiovese wines in California. Pack your cheese, crackers, olives and other assorted foods as we will have a no-host picnic lunch at Noceto’s as we sit and socialize, or engage in some games of bocce ball on their court. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time left for those wishing to visit other wineries in the area.
This is a family (and dog) friendly event, but please note that minors under 21 may not be allowed in the tasting rooms, but will be allowed on the patios of both wineries.
There is a $10 cost per person (for those tasting wines) payable at each of the wineries.
We will meet at the Starbucks parking lot, 4311 Town Center Blvd., El Dorado Hills, at 9:30 am on Sunday, June 23. Departing time will be at 10:00 am.
So that we can give the wineries a count of how many are attending, please sign up on the attached link, be sure to include yourself and anyone else you are bringing.
