Sunday Funday at Wise Villa Winery and Restaurant. The day begins with an optional drive in the hills and roads around Lincoln. At 8:30, we will meet at Kathrin’s Biergarten 4810 Granite Drive Ste 1A in Rocklin. Clutch out at 9AM sharp. We will arrive at Wise Villa between 10:30 to 10:45 for a Wine Tour followed by lunch. The Wine Tour and lunch is $42. We have our choice of the following sandwiches: Caprese Chicken, Wise Villa Burger or Atlantic Salmon BLT. Wine tasting and purchases at your own discretion. The Wine Tour and Lunch have 20 spots available (we have 4 left as of today 7/10).

The tour will be conducted by the owner and founder, Dr. Grover C. Lee. Dr. Lee is a physician with a Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy and extensive training in biochemistry, chemistry, and microbiology. He grew up in California’s Central Valley, surrounded by vineyards, and developed a passion for viticulture and enology through hands-on work in vineyards and labs. He studied at Cal Poly S.L.O. and the University of the Pacific and later pursued medical school board certification in Managed Care Medicine.

Before founding Wise Villa Winery, Dr. Lee began making wine in the early 1990s at a local winery, studied extensively at UC Davis, and traveled widely in Europe to learn from winemakers. He blends a rigorous scientific approach with classic winemaking techniques, which has shaped the winery’s award-winning style
