BMW Club Annual Picnic

    - Family Picnic at the historic Marshall Gold Discovery State Park in Coloma.
    - North Beach group picnic area

It is back; the Sacramento Valley Chapter BMW Car Club will hold a family picnic
at the historic Marshall Gold Discovery State Park in the town of Coloma. Plan to
get away from the Sacramento heat and bring the entire family up for a fun afternoon
in the cool foothills!

We have reserved the North Beach group picnic area; there's plenty of great parking
and shady picnic tables. There is a $6 per car entry fee for all day park usage. The
club will be providing table cloths, plates, eating utensils, condiments, and BBQ
fires. Bring your own main course food and a side dish to share; alcoholic beverages
will be allowed, but you will be responsible for your own.

As you can see from the map, we are close to the entire historic area, which would make
for a great adventure. To get there, take Hwy 50 east to Placerville. Turn north (left)
onto Hwy 49 and follow that winding highway for about 20 minutes. It passes through the
middle of the park. Dogs are allowed in the park, but must be kept on a leash.
